Our Shipping Policy
Thank you for purchasing Uncle Jerry’s Pretzels. We are excited to share our handmade pretzels with you, baked in a stone-hearth oven with a 100-year-old recipe. Our pretzels are extremely fragile. Unfortunately, once they leave our packing facility, some breakage may occur during the shipping process. We do our very best to ensure they get to you without damage by packing them tightly with biodegradable peanuts. Please inspect your package immediately upon receipt. All claims must be filed within 2 business days of delivery.
If damage occurred during shipping, simply send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org. Make sure to include your order number and indicate whether you'd like a replacement order or refund.
We are not responsible for incorrect or incomplete shipping addresses. A $17.50 fee will be charged to the customer's credit card for address corrections after shipping.
Due to a significant increase in the cost of shipping, we have a flat-rate shipping fee. This flat rate is based on destination zip code and is automatically applied to your order at check out. All orders are shipped via UPS ground. Customers should allow 7 - 10 business days for orders to arrive. Emails with tracking information will be sent once an order hits the mail stream.
You'll receive an email from us once we have processed your order and it is awaiting to be fulfilled and shipped.
You'll receive an email from us telling you that your order has been shipped. We are not responsible for incorrect or incomplete shipping addresses.
You'll receive an email from us which includes the UPS tracking number for your order.
Once your order is processed, please allow up to 10 business days to receive via UPS ground.
All Sales Are Final. We Do Not Accept Returns, Exchanges, or Issue Replacements for the Following Reasons:
- Uncle Jerry's Pretzels are handmade and, like snowflakes, every pretzel is unique. There may be differences between batches in qualities like salt content and finish. While we endeavor to meet everyone's personal tastes, we cannot guarantee it. The handmade nature of our product means there will be variation. We do not refund/exchange/replace product based on these factors.
- The wrong item was ordered. Please review your order carefully before placing it, including variety, bag sizes, quantity and salt options. In the event you need to modify your order, you must contact us within one business day with the change. While we will do our best to accommodate requests after one business day, we cannot guarantee it and are not responsible for requests made after this time.
- You didn’t like the taste of the product. For your convenience, we offer product descriptions and customer reviews for all our products. (It’s hard to imagine this happening – our pretzels are fresh, crunchy, and handmade!)
- Incorrect shipping addresses. Please be sure to include apartment, suite or floor numbers, as needed. We are not responsible for incorrect or incomplete shipping addresses provided on completed orders. We are not responsible for address changes once an order has been processed. A $17.50 fee will be charged to the customer's credit card for address corrections after shipping.
- Shipping charges are non-refundable. Please review your order carefully before submitting it on our website and check your emailed order confirmation to ensure it's accurate.
- Your pretzels were purchased at another store or on another company's website. Please contact that seller directly regarding your purchase.
We Do Not Issue Refunds
***Where proof of purchase is unavailable, Uncle Jerry's may offer a coupon code for future use on www.unclejerryspretzels.com.
PROOF OF PURCHASE IS REQUIRED FOR ALL REPLACEMENTS. REPLACEMENTS WILL ONLY BE ISSUED WITHIN 2 DAYS OF RECEIPT. We guarantee our pretzels for up to 6 months per the best by date located on the label.
Uncle Jerry's is happy to replace*** your order if:
- The package was damaged in shipping. Send us an email, making sure to include your order number, date of receipt, and a description of the damage.
- Replacements will be sent of the same variety purchased. No substitutions allowed.
- We sent the incorrect item to you.
- Proof of purchase is required and must be within the listed best by date.
